Just wondering that if it hasn't affected training in the past, why would it in the future? Get over yourself!

Agree...the military is about service to something bigger than yourself. Gay people are almost always first defined by what they are....or who they have sex with. That conflicts with selfless service to nation first and is a detriment to good order and discipline. The security needs of the nation come first...not social engineering. BTW...they should list the names of the generals and admirals....let them be accountable for their views.
This is an agenda being pursued by those who now see an opportunity with a future president who will likely join Bill Clinton in failing to understand his historical responsibility as a moral leader for our nation.
Fix the economy and punish those politicians who started this mess.
I served in military, was quite aware of gays in our ranks, was not the least disturbed. What was disturbing was the knowledge that NCO's and Officers often paid servicemen to openly seduce others and then kick both out. What odious entrapment, waste of taxes and hyprocisy! I also served in ETO...the Dutch and Israeli military had no exclusions on gays and were great allies.
